Great food and service. The place looks wonderful and the staff is always helpful

Wendy, Beverly, and Kirk are a wedding dream team. Not only is the venue beautiful, affordable, and supports the local parks system, but the staff truly handles everything. We had no idea this sort of all-included wedding would be possible with our budget. The food was phenomenal and many of our guests told us they were surprised to be served such tasty food at a wedding. Beverly, the kitchen manager, worked with us for a few weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure that our handful of guests with various dietary restrictions would be accommodated. On the day of the wedding, Wendy hand delivered those meals to make sure they made it to the correct guests. Wendy also made sure the venue was decorated to perfectly match what I had envisioned. The thing I appreciated most was help with the day-of coordination. Kirk saved the day by finding my misplaced vows. Wendy gently checked in with me when it was time to walk down the aisle, letting me know the plan without rushing me at all. All day, I felt confident that I was in good hands and that any issues would be handled with minimal to no effort on my part. The Cascades Manor staff treated us like family from the first time we visited the venue. For example, we had custom temporary tattoos at our reception, and the bartender (whose name I didn't catch) put a tattoo of our faces on her cheek. During a planning meeting where we selected our cocktail hour food, we told Wendy and Beverly we were sad we wouldn't get to eat Beverly's amazing bacon-wrapped water chestnuts at the wedding because we'd be busy taking pictures. The two of them made sure that a full plate of water chestnuts was set aside for us to eat with dinner, and also sent us home with a takeout container full of them at the end of the night. Good choice for a modestly sized wedding.

The Cascades helped us host our 50th wedding anniversary and not only did everything go as planned but we were thrilled with the results. The staff working closely on the decor, the menu, and all the special touches were there. They did a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier and would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a memorable and timeless experience.

Loved meeting the managers of this historic place. Would be great to add plants in the coming years with Farrah's Flower Farm!!
